Achievements

May 2025 to May 2026

 

Much has already been accomplished, and the Corrente Fraterna shows how bonds formed in childhood can endure over time and become a powerful source of support and hope. It reminds us that there is always room for solidarity when human connections prevail and when people unite around a shared purpose.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who is already part of this network.

Many achievements have been made so far, and we have been able to consistently cover essential monthly expenses, such as:

• Rent
• Gas
• Internet
• Food

Additionally, this beautiful collective effort has made possible:

• Ongoing psychological support
• A dental prosthesis earlier this year, which restored Carlos’s self-esteem and confidence to take control of his life again

After 12 months, he has begun to believe again that "he has rights" — and this may be the greatest achievement of all.

We now have the necessary tests and three medical recommendations confirming the need for a high-complexity surgery. We are seeking legal support so that the surgery and recovery can take place before the end of 2026.
